Greg, I seldom AWB, only when there's mixed light sources, like indoors, or when I don't have the time to do custom WB. I usually select Sunny, Cloudy, Shade, or, when I have the time and really want good WB, I do custom WB. In this particular shot, since my dSLR is in Sunny WB by default, I forgot to change it to Cloudy for this first shot in a series. The rest were correctly shot at Cloudy, and thus more saturated, but don't have the eye contact.

yah i agree na pang national geographic ang dating... yet may question lang sir.. awb ba ginamit mo? and do make any retouching on the image? thanks in advance...
