IWA Lee & Stort Branch DEFRA cuts Protest

On 25th November 2006 the Lee & Stort branch of the Inland Waterways Association held a 'Blockade' on the River Lee at Ware Town bridge to protest at the cuts in the British Waterweays grant by DEFRA, details of the campaign can be read at http://www.waterways.org.uk/News/CurrentCampaigns/DefraCuts

Transport for the final couple of miles to the event was on board NB Daisybob from Stanstead lock with  Dave 'Moose' Hearnden
