Green Lacewing Larva

My wife found a fuzzy insect about the size of a kernel of corn crawling on her arm. When she showed it to me, I encouraged her to move into the sunlight, so I could photograph it. Before she got there she complained that it was biting her, and she moved it to a leaf. I transferred it to a nearby piece of wood and got a few shots before it dropped to the ground. The image here is a very tight crop. It wasn't until I zoomed in on my computer monitor that I saw the larva under the ball of fuzz. There were dark spots on both sides of the front that we had assumed were its eyes.
