I built this HO scale model some 20 years ago for the Rochester Model Railroad Club. It had been in storage for a number of years after it was built due to the layout moving to another building, so it was nice to see it in use at a recent open house (I am no longer a member of this club). The prototype was on the New York Ontario and Western Railroad in Upstate New York. I reduced the length for the model to about six actual feet. It would have been considerably longer, otherwise.
