A flowering plum, in my front yard started blooming today. The background is a piece of very dense black foam, that I found in a craft store - it is easier to carry around than foamcore.

Wow! This is your best one yet... The composition is fantastic, and the black backdrop really emphasizes a richness in that red. Beautiful!
