In retrospect, I don't think this was my best shot of the day or even of this scene (What was I thinking?). It seems like it would be cheating to change it now though. PAD is about learning to edit as well as taking a good image in the first place.

Nice eye on finding this one... Have you considered a tighter crop that eliminates some of the shadow in the lower left (and the yellow car) and highlights in the upper left? This would really draw attention to those beautiful tones and strong vertical lines between the trees. Shots like this always remind me of how photography teaches us to notice so many things that others can just walk right by... Very nice!
