First Grade 1957

This is my class picture from the first grade. I am in the back row, eighth from the left. The photo was taken by "Rowe Photo". They are still in business, they still use that logo and I bought my Nikon D70 from Rowe Photo in 2005!!

Great photo to have! I think we had the same alphabet hanging in my grade one class too! But where are all the saddle shoes?

Nice that you posted this memento from your childhood. I have a similar photo taken in the 1950s when I was a little tyke at Elwanger and Barry School #24 (Meigs Street; long since converted to condominiums). Wouldn't it be interesting to find out what became of your classmates? Your connection with Rowe photo is neat.
