I have been restoring engine #500 for 3-1/2 years. My goal this year was to get it running.
I took it to the club today to start testing the plumbing. There are a few leaks, and a few
other items that need to be fixed before I can fire it, but I am confident that the engine will
run before the end of the season. (The cab was removed to make it easier to access the plumbing
on the backhead.)

This is a 1/8 scale; 7-1/4 inch gauge; coal fired live steam locomotive.
