Seton Catholic Central High School's Varsity Football Team vs Harpursville

This was the fifth game of the 2006 season and was played in Harpursville on September 30th. The final score was Seton 36, Harpursville 28. The Saints fell behind early in the game by two touchdowns but fought back to tie the game at 22-22 to end the first half. The longest play from scrimmage was an exciting halfback pass from Luke Daly to Chris Perry that went 70 yards for a Saints touchdown. Total yards gained for Seton was 327 (252 passing, 75 rushing). The Harpursville Hornets gained 354 yards (335 rushing, 19 passing) but also had two interceptions and lost possession on two of their four fumbles. Quarterback Evan Tripicco led the Saints on offense with two rushing touchdowns and two touchdown passes. Luke Daly's two interceptions on defense highlighted a 'bend but don't break' afternoon for the Saints' defense.
