Thanks Klaus, for your comment. And you are correct! I was unable to determine the positive ID, and I emailed Art Morris for help. Being the great guy that he is, he replied within 10 mintues and told me it's a 1-year old reddish egret. Arthur Morris' work can be seen at his website here:http://www.birdsasart.com/index.html

Hi Tim, Ilona(Vlaaitje) pointed me to your site and I'm happy she did. Never seen a Little Blue Heron quite like that. I would have thought it to be a reddish Heron. Never stop learning. ;)
