This loon graced the lagoon behind Wade Chapel in Lakeview Cemetery for about 5 weeks this spring. He was assisted to Lake Erie by Harvey Webster of the Museum of Natural History after having difficulty getting airborne due to a shorter than necessary watery runway, making it only a few houses away from Lakeview.
