This old wooden RCA radio resides in the garage at my workplace.
Been in the same spot for the 30 years I've worked there.
And I'm sure on the same shelf for decades before.
Unfortunately it no longer works but still looks good!

It's a fascinating piece. And very sophisticated for it's time. It picks up shortwave and police band, and has station presets. So not only beautiful, but highly functional and probably a necessity to some living on an island with long winters. This should be in the house, instead of garage. A big part of history of island life. And pretty too! V
