Yunnan, a mysterious, wonderful land, is inhabited by 26 ethnic groups (total 56 ethnic groups in China). The ethnic groups vary in natural
living environment, historical process, and characters, and this contributes to a variety of social and cultural forms in Yunnan.
The complex geographical environment, distinctive-styled residential structures, colorful costumes,
amazing music and dancing made a land of beauty and wonder.
Yunnan is a world of mountains. The winding mountain ranges compose
the backbone of Yunnan. With their outlines inlaid between land and sky, the mountains are like bridges linking earth to heaven.
