4 egg whites
1/2 cup CRISCO PURITAN Oil
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 1/3cups granulated sugar
1/2 cup unsweetend cocoa
1 1/4cup all-purpose flour
1/4 teaspoon salt
confectoners'sugar
Heat oven to 350F.Oil bottom of 9x9-inch pan.Set aside
Place egg whites in large bowl.Beat with spoon until slightly frothy.Add oil and vanilla.
Mix thoroughly.Stir in sugar and cocoa.Mix well.Stir in flour and salt until blended.Pour into
pan.
Bake at 350f for 26 to 28 minutes.Do not overbake.Cool completely on wire rack before
cutting.Sprinkle with confectioners' sugar,if desired.
Makes 11/2 dozen brownies
