This is a photo of the iconic Buachaille Etive Mor. If you know this place
you know that this photo is taken from just one hundred meters off the
main A82 road that crosses the GlenCoe valley. It is a near perfect
piramidal mountain.
This mountain stands at the entry of the valley as if it was it's keeper.
I stopped the car and with tripod at hand walked to get my framming. The
photo was easy to get. The place is beautiful. This is of course if
you forget about the "midgets" (this is the very cute name that
the locals call the brutal mosquitos). I was severly attacked by hordes
of them. They make any thoughtful photography art impossible.
I worked fast to get my frame and run back to the car.
The Etive Mor reflected in a pool with the GlenCoe valley in the background
(in the right side). Hope you like it.
