Lys area museum

The Lys (or Leie, in Dutch) is a small (135 mi/217 km) river flowing from Northern France
into the Scheldt (Escaut/Schelde) river at Ghent (Gand/Gent).
Its banks and surroundings were a favorite subject of many turn-of-the-Century Flemish landscape painters:
