The weather was cooler this year but did not seem to harm attendance. Off track entertainment was lacking star power as there were wheelchair dancers and Can Can dancers (aka la follies) rather than say the All American Rejects and xgames star Nate Adams. Security was tighter than ever with spectators pushed further away from riders . Even the awards ceremony was botched as priority was given to media. Lastly, ingress and egress has deteriorated such that it took the track supplied shuttle 1.5 hours to get to the track on race day causing many to miss the 10 am warmup on Sunday. Hopefully this is not a sign of it being the last year at Laguna but it sure seems that way!
