Dear Pete,
I love this photograph.
I am glad I am not the only one who sees magic in nature in a quirky way.
Keep up the good work.

Thanks Pete.
The broken area looks like a snake ot lixstf.
The eye is very realistic and the mouth seems open
as though iy is about to strike.

Super find, Pete. The colors here are so powerful. That Pentax really does well with you.

Kind of 'spooky' Pete :). So cool you saw this.

Thanks Hal,
The tree is old and large, and some other limbs have broken under the weight. Also one large limb is supported. I've known this tree for years and offer taken pics in passing.

A magical summer image, Pete.
One wonders why a tree trunk
will twist like this ....
and why it broke off.
Wll seen and tken, Pete.
