2-18-2016 Facing the Wind

Dunlin on the jetty at Edmonds. I love how they all are
facing the direction of the weather. These guys fly in close synchronization - amazing to watch

Dear Terry, Superb image. I love the way the birds are all facing the same way in perfect synchronicity. The bird coming into land is just wonderful.

Thanks, Hal. It was a bit of a challenge, though. The wind was blowing so hard, I had a hard time even standing up ! :)

What an amazing shot, Terry. With the bird with its landing gear down is the cherry on the top. A really wonderful image... like being there
