8-22-2015 Kjosfossen Falls and the 'dancing woman'

Be sure to view in Original Size

These falls are a major attraction along the famous railroad that climbs out of Flam.
The dancing woman of Kjosfossen is a "hulder" (nordic mythology).
The "hulder" was similar to the sirens of old roman/greek mythology. She lured
men to their doom by singing beautiful songs and her stunning beauty but in real life
she's an ugly troll.

A dramatic shot Terry. An interesting story too.
You have had a great experience!

Such water movement and dramatic coastline...I like the almost monochromatic feel, and would have been tempted to convert it.

Wow. A dramatic shot Terry, even without
the woman luring men to their doom.
A most interesting story of the lovely lady who in reality is a troll !
Love is blind, and... it happens
