Sunset After the Storm

Got off work, saw the clouds in broken sky and the wind was blowing hard.Perfect recipe for a great sunset! Jumped in the car, drove quickly down to the water, got out setup, shot for about 5 minutes and the show was over! But the sky lit up as you can see and it was magnificently beautiful!

Wonderful drama in that sky Jim.

The color in the sky with the storm clouds are fantastic and the reflection of the sky's color on the water tie it all together. Just enough detail of the town to make it a perfect scene. Just love it when things come together.

This is absolutely beautiful.
It must have been a race against time but the results so tremendous.

This is a beauty! The excitement of racing against time to capture a great scene last this is my favorite part of photography.
