Pend Oreille Valley Area Railroad

At the end of the line in Metaline Falls, Washington. At this point the decouple the engine, bring it forward and switch onto a siding then back past the train and switch it back and recouple with the passenger cars.

The engine passed within a few feet of me and I'll post some shots of it close up soon.

What a beautiful day in the autumn for seeing this great railroad in action!
