This is right where the Pacific Ocean meets the Sea of Cortes in Mexico. Another shot from the ultralight flight I took, flying by at about 50 MPH, hand holding (obviously) and shooting like a crazy man having a blast!
Thank you all very much! I did have to overcome some fears, but being the rational person I tend to be, I dismissed them and instead concentrated on doing my job as a photographer. But I must have been squeezing the poor pilot really hard with my knees. We were seated tandem with me behind and a little higher than he. As we approached for landing he reached down and had me drop my feet off the foot rests. After we landed and got off, he told me that next time I'll be much more relaxed. LOL, he was a very nice guy and an awesome pilot!
Kudos to you for a great job of photographing while soaring! It must have been an amazing experience. I'm afraid that I would have been to chicken to try this.
An amazing scene, disregarding the danger of the flying craft. Tough to shoot with the wind moving against you up there. One photo-chopper flight in Hawaii with the doors open cured me!
