Impossible

Wisonsin

For a long time, I have been reading about the Impossible Project and looking at the photos that Impossible Project followers have taken. I don't know if you have heard about it, but when Polaroid went out of business, the Impossible Project was formed and they bought the manufacturing equipment and now make instant film for old Polaroid cameras. (Fuji still makes instant cameras and film, too.) I have been wanting to try some Impossible film, but didn't want to spend the money on the pricey film, when I didn't have a Polaroid Land camera. Then I read about the Polaroid Spectra. When I saw the picture of it, I remembered that we had an old Spectra on a shelf in the basement. I ran down and brought the Spectra 2 to my office. I looked it over, but could not tell if it would work. I took a chance and ordered two boxes of black and white film. Today, I put a box in the camera and tried it out. This was my first photo. I was not sure of the frame lines, so I put my subject a little too much in the center. I'll know better next time. It was a thrill when the filmed shot out, and more of a thrill when the picture was revealed. I know... it is an acquired taste. LOL

My friend and fellow Pbaser, Karen Stuebing has been working with a Mamiya RB67 using a Polaroid back Fuji 3000b. She has great results! I'm very fond of this sort of photo work and I really like yours.
