1936 Brough Superior

This classic motorcycle was spotted outside the cemetery where T E lawrence (Lawrence of Arabia) is buried. It was a similar motorcycle he rode and he suffered his fatal accident in 1935.

Pretty amazing (and just a little creepy) that you found this in front of the very cemetery where TEL is buried. It is a beautiful, classic machine.

Thanks Hal, yes the accident took place about three miles or so from here, portrayed in the film Lawrence of Arabia starring Peter O'toole.

That's amazing, Tony, to see the old bike like T.E.L rode so many years ago. l remember seeing a movie re-enactment of his accident on a narrow country lane. This is a great "catch" Tony
