Great shot Tony to capture the wild beauty of the landscape.
To say about the walls for the others, large parts of Northern England have these dry stone walls which have a wide and structure built by skilled workers and many have lasted for a centuary or more. They have been put up on the steepest of slopes and although they are hard work to build, they do use the very local stone

A lovely landscape to say the least!

Amazing valley shot... not what I imagine when I think of the UK. I'm curious about the structure as well.

What a beautiful landscape, I like the foreground structure as it settles your eye and pulls you into the image.

A very dramatic scene Tony. Rugged and well-photographed.
l too am curious about the old (ancient? ) stone wall built without mortar.

Spectacular place and lovely image, Tony. Do you know the story about the stone
fence/enclosure?
