Rolleis

Wisconsin

This week Kodak announced that they will be selling off their film business. I hope they find a buyer and that I can continue to buy Kodak film for the duration. Yesterday, my Rolleiflex 2.8F came back from repair. It was fitted with a new, brighter Maxwell focusing screen and cleaned, lubricated, adjusted and repaired. It now works like new. I'm taking it for a spin tomorrow.

What a beautiful piece of equipment, I've never used or even held one of these beauties in my hand.
Well done on having it restored, looking forward to seeing the results from your shoot.
Have fun...

Extremely envious, Cindy.
They are beautiful specimens, and your work with them has been stunning!
Kodak apparently couldn't make a go of an ice cream stand on a Florida beach these days...

Beautiful cameras... I've never used a TLR before but I imagine that they would be fun.

Thanks, Steve. The one behind is a Rolleicord V. I enjoy it too. It is lighter and smaller and is often found riding around in my car with me.

Beautiful portrait of an old friend Cindy. I suspect that you are not alone in film hoarding at this point.

Thanks Lynn, Mike and Tony.
Tony, I have several bags of135 and 120 film in the freezer. I could go on for a couple of years without buying any if I had to, but I plan to buy more of my favorite Kodak Portra and Tri-x just in case.

Looks in amazing condition Cindy. You might have to buy up some film now and keep in the freezer.

I was so sad to see Kodak was discontinuing their film.
This is a really good camera, I'm glad you've been maintaining it. Have fun shooting tomorrow.
Nice work on the photo here, I like the light on the lens and the film box.
