Inside a Baldwin Artist Grand Piano

Des Moines, Iowa

This photo was taken with the Contax G 45 f/2 Planar lens that was converted to the Leica M mount. The conversion required adding a helical to allow focusing. Here is a photo of the lens on my Leica M6ttl.

Beautiful shot. Love the looks of that Leica and the retro lens.

Superb!
I have used that great lmens on my old G1.
Superb glass. Only better lens they made was the old 21/2.8.
Wish they could modify THAT for M. Too much back end, though.

Fabulous shots Cindy. The piano one is worth framing. Excellent quality.
The camera still looks very much like my old M4. The first with the angled rewind knob.
Sounds like the lens conversion would have cost as much as the original lens !
A wonderful result though.

This is so cool, Cindy; both the grand piano and the camera shot - I don't know much
about Leica, except that everything they do is fine!!
