Last Hurrah at the Big Hole

Wisconsin view map

I know the days like this are numbered. It was spectacular at the Big Hole. I was using my film camera, so I whipped out my iPhone for some instant gratification. This new one is an 8MP camera and is not too shabby if you can tolerate letting the camera make most of the decisions, and the fact that it spits out a jpeg. I was amused that I had a 1957 camera in one hand and an iPhone in the other. Low tech meets high tech. ;-} The good news is that with an iPhone you are never without a camera.

Wonderful Cindy. A lovely photo. Times are changing all the time.
l was fascinated to see the number of Libyans photographing
Gadaffi's body with cell-phones.

A beautiful shot of this lovely looking area.
I'm envious of your lovely weather, it's like a horrible winter's day here.

These tiny phone sensors actually do a decent job. I am hoping that we have a few of these days left though.

Thanks, Terry and Bob. I have a feeling that this phone camera phenomenon is really going to grow. There are lots of fisheye, wide angle, macro, etc. items for sale already....tripod mounts and handles, too.

Really quite a remarkable image for a phone camera jpg file.
I've got to look around for a tripod adapter for my tablet and phone.

Amazing quality, Cindy. We are in the same boat here, weatherwise - every
nice day now is a gift!
