If we can see want you mean at this resolution then a print must be impressive.
This is excellent the quality makes it look very 3D.

Wonderful photo, Cindy. Very delicate shades particulrly in in metal being worked.
Until someone comes out with an improved dynamic range, l'm not interested in
buying another camera. l want to see a REAL improvement in image quality
before l buy. l'm not impressed with simply more and more MPs.
Maybe l'll find a Fuji S5 !!

I met a guy at a car race last year who was using one. He said basically the same thing about it. Now I see why.

This is excellent Cindy.
Your framing couldn't be any better, I'd say this would look great printed big.

Thanks Lennart, Terry and Bob. The crop is as shot, so I'm glad that you like it. When I look back through my archives, I realize why the Fuji S5 is my all-time favorite camera. If you don't know, It was housed in a Nikon D200 body with the hardware/software internals by Fuji. It featured Nikon Mount and used Nikon mount lenses/Nikon AF. The body was a classic (felt really good in my hands), but the 12MP sensor was really something. It was effective only 6MP because half of the sensors were for resolution/color and half for dynamic range. Wedding photographers loved it because of that high dynamic range. You could really see it shine in high contrast situations. Too bad that Fuji dropped the S line of DSLRs.

This is a great image that really captures the essence of the craft. I love the muted colors and the glow of the red-hot iron.
