The Circus, Bath

These grand houses were the work of John Wood, and took over 20 years to complete. In all there are 648 columns. William Pitt, David Livingstone and the painter Gainsborough all lived here.

Amazing architecture, Tony! The curving lines contrasted with
the steel fencing and columns make this a very striking image.
