I am using the window and a beanbag here.
Most of the earlier things , I was not.
Does make a difference.
The Canon glass is not light, as you can attest..
Some bird shots I will post, I have trapped the hood of the 300 in the corner of the car window with me left hand.
The eagle shots yesterday (more to come) were hand held or stablized through the moon roof.

A tech question; are you using the car window for a stable platform
or perhaps a tripod. 1/125s for a 420mm shot is tough if only hand held.
