Winterfest 2010
Leavenworth is a small town nestled in the eastern side of the Cascade Mountains in Washington state. No ordinary town though, it adopted a Bavarian theme in the 1960's and hosts a wide variety of celebrations throughout the year. The previous image was shot three years ago and this one was taken tonight. As the sunset a light snowfall began and substantially added to the joyful, Christmas feeling. We always enjoy our visits to this beautiful town and the festive atmosphere.
