Antelope Best in Original size

Wisconsin

I was at Upper Antelope Canyon (near Page Arizona)last year about this time. I was looking for a photo to test out my Capture One and Photoshop on, so I picked this one out of my files. I had never done anything with it. The colors in the slot canyons are amazing this time of year.
This photo was made with my all time favorite DSLR, the Fuji S5. The S5 has a Nikon D200 body and Nikon mount, but has a sensor built for high dynamic range by Fuji. Fuji has quit building this line :-{. I sold mine, but really regret it.

I'm not sure what Pbase does to our images, but this one really shows that the compression ruins the colors. Just click through the sizes on this one and watch what it does to the colors.

Amazing...we were there a few years ago, but did not have the light you have. Gorgeous shot Cindy!

Love the lines, textures, colors and light. Yeah, Pbase seems to flatten the images somewhat but this is still a beauty!

I do the same thing that Terry does except I (generally) resize to 800 px on the long side before I add the matte borders that I typically use.

Wow Cindy, this is stunning. No more to be said.

Thanks, Pat, Bob, Michael and Terry.

Terry, I just re-sized it to 800 pixels on the long side and it seems to be better. I'm appreciate the tip. I have an action that sizes and changes to srgb for the web. Now I have another thing to work on. LOL
My new computer has lead to many little problems, one of which is the need for a new wireless router. It is always something.

Just simply fabulous, Cindy.
On the re-size issue, I find if I size it myself to 800 pixels maximum
That the results come out just fine. If pbase resizes it, not only
color but definition suffers. So, I always resize before posting.

Beyond words....

Fantastic in every respect... and you are right about the
very noticeable differences as PBase resizes the image.
