Red Canyon

The Red Canyon, Utah

On the way up to Bryce Canyon NP, you pass through the Red Canyon. There are some beautiful rock formations there. They are much more bold in color than the rocks at Bryce.
I loved the wispy clouds in this photo.

Fantastic shot Cindy... I really love the warm tones of the sandstone with the erosional lines.. The cloud formations are also interesting, some high winds by the looks... well spotted..

Another fabulous image. I love the sky and how the red canyon pops against it. Beautiful composition and light.

Another fantastic shot Cindy, I love everything about this shot.
The colour of the canyon, the different layers of rock and the trees. the clouds just add the finishing touches to this great shot.

Beautiful, Cindy! The clouds definitely take this over the top.

I love the desert southwest and scenes like this really draw me in. Indeed the clouds really cap off this very beautiful scene. Nicely captured indeed!

this is most unusual Cindy. lt's not usual for Nature to work in straight lines.
At a glance it looks like one of Frank's lrish castles.
As Terry says, it really comes to life in Original size.
And with the most unusual clouds, it is a most impressive and eye-cathcing photograph

Another awe-inspiring shot. I'm not much of a
landscape photographer or traveler, but shots like
this make me rethink that position.

Outstanding sharpness and image composition, Cindy!
Really made this trip count, eh?

Gorgeous, Cindy. I hope everyone looks at this in "original" size.
I love the clouds, too. They are most unusual.
