Sgwd yr Elra

These falls are in the Brecon Beacons, a range of low mountains in South Wales. It is superb walking country with few crowds. This fall who's English name is Fall of Snow, is very unusual in the fact the footpath goes behind the falls.

Good choice of shutter speed and aperture Tony, and has a nice feeling of movement and sharp right into the centre.

Great shot Tony, nice foreground interest which leads nicely to the falls.

I've been to the Beacons a couple of times, but not seen these falls, so I must get back there and explore more, as this is a super site and excellent shot.
Is it worth pointing out to non UK members that the name is the Welsh language (I presume)?

Tony, not only is the light extraordinary, the exposure time is perfect, as is the composition.
Great work!

What strikes me most about this beautiful photo is the light. You captured some glorious light! Bravo.

How beautiful, Tony. Lovely country and so well photographed
The slow shutter adds to the feeling of movement and your vantage point
was very well chosen. Walking behind the falls would be a unique experience,
seeing the world through a veil of water.
