King George V

This was taken in a local railway museum in Swindon. The locomotive is still used occasionally, and has now been moved to the York Railway museum. They don't make them like this any more!

They sure don't. A great image of this machine. WE have an old locomotive that runs from one town to Fort Worth. Very special image.

...And believe it or not, I used to live and work in Swindon too.... and what I miss about the UK is the history... another great memory here Tony...

Great shades of brass colors! The red is the difference on this one! Great work!

Beautiful!!! Just look at that workmanship...and so well presented by you. It is very nice to know that they still take it out for a run now and then.

I love all things mechanical. This is like poetry to my eyes, Tony.

A most interesting photo Tony, from the height of the mechanical age
and the Age of Steam Power. l would guess that the controls made of coil springs
are to dissipate the heat. Excellent image. Thanks for showing it to us.

This is an excellent shot and a strange coincidence, as we have just been on the Somerset stream railway today. This is much better than anything I got.

Looks to be beautifully restored... and nicely photographed.
