Deer at Sundown

Utah

I am setting up some new hardware and software. One of the programs that I upgraded was my Lightroom. I'm going back through and starting over with a fresh library. I have tons of photos that I never did anything with and I'm finally going to process some of them. This is from Bryce Canyon in 2007.

Canon EOS Digital Rebel XTi
1/20s f/5.6 at 161.0mm iso800 full exif

other sizes: small medium large original auto

Hi Cindy! Great work with this picture! Love the soft and calm colors you have presented in this work!

New software + old photo's = lots of artistic output.
This reminds me of a recent conversation about ears, why do we humans have so little control over our ears, imagine sitting in a pub with ears like that, you could listen to exactly who ever you wanted.
This is a clear accomplished photo for 20sec, nice work.

Thanks, Hal, Bob and Terry.
You know, it is weird, but I can go back through my archives to 2005, 2006, 2007 and look at photos and remember exactly the minute that I took the photo (where I was, what was happening).

A timeless image, Cindy. They are so majestic - I
love their ears :). Glad you are digging into your archives -
I've been doing the same...

A superb shot, Cindy.

Well l'm really delighted that you are showing some of your older shots Cindy.
Photos don't have to be hot off the press to be very good and well worth seeing.
This is a really superb photo. Takes me back to my years in the African Bush.
This deer is smaller but if l scroll so that only the head and neck show,
it is virtually identical to the larger, female Kudu. Beautiful. And thank you.
