What you see are the roof steel rafters from the
Large Sanctuary that had roll up doors that connected to the gym's back walll. this fell down in one solid large section/piece after CFD (Charlotte- Mecklenburg Fire Fighters) did training exercises . From when the city of Charlotte bought/foreclosed on the school and land for taxes & airport

Urban decay Site is endangered from new/future developement due to the large tract of land close to the inner city that is not developed. Airport noise is helping block putting in a neighborhood for now.
