The Pterodactyl club was also called the Dac which often referred to the downstairs. There was a second part or room upstairs for a second DJ. There were several names some varied by event like Attic and Asylum. Downstairs would have the more main stream alternative music while upstairs had more underground and scene music. Like Goth and raves. Live Bands also played here
