I am sorry for your loss. and of course you know i feel your pain. I am sure Alyson will meet Paul and she will show him how to help you and your family from the other side like Alyson helps me everyday.

I have the second post above. My brother-in-law died 3 March. Yes, he died with all the diginity of a great man. It just occurred to me that maybe Paul and Alyson will know each other in heaven. Maybe they'll help each other, and other folks, too. It would not surprise me.

I do know Alison. She and Luis came to visit us the day after my son was born 8/19/03 in the hospital. I spoke to Luis plenty of time after but we lost contact. I just found out A passed yesterday and today I am still crying. The world is filled with only onlhy so many Truley Great people and You are one of them. We Love you and Pray you will be watching over us

I'm crying as I write a check to the foundation. Such a sad story. I feel like I knew her, I feel like part of me died as I read the story.
My brother-in-law fell into a coma a month ago. 44 years old. Harvard grad. 2 young kids. Again I make myself wonder, why do such bad things happen to such good people. If Paul can't recover, I hope he'll die with Alyson's diginity.

what can be said but that she was so brave--- your girl, i mean.

my Lord, i have never seen such a thing--- what courage and fight she had .

Dear Alyson and Luis:
My family and I spent many a night and day at Moffit. My husband is a twice cancer survivor. Here is what I can tell you: 1)Get a positive attitude, you are getting a first hand education and God is your teacher. Know that we were put here to be used by God, not for God to be used by us. 2) Document all that you are experiencing, it will help when you are placed in someones life who will need your support. 3)Rent all the comedy videos you can, watch them, laughter releases a wonderful healing. And 4) read Mark 11:24 Therefore I say unto you, what things soever you desire, when you pray, BELIEVE that you receive them. Key word is believe.
Know that God can move mountains, but prayer and faith can move God. My dear child you are in my prayers. God bless and Angels keep--Jeanette Pepe

Alyson,

You keep the good fight girl...God is faithful to bring all things together for good for those who love Him. He has blessed you with life and apparently He's provided the things needed to keep you here on earth. It may not be all good, walking through this trial, but consider yourself to have a testimony not many others have...can't have a testimony without a test!!...and now you are armed and dangerous to the devil as you praise God for all His goodness through it. God has called you by name and blessed you with life.
