One of the most precious architectural components in the Palace of the
Alcazar: The golden dome in the Hall of Ambassadors (Salón de Embajadores).

Completed in 1427 by Diego Ruiz, this wooden, hemispherical dome is designed to represent
the universe, often referred to as a "vision of the sky" or Media Naranja (half-orange).
