The former Nimitz Hotel.
Nimitz became the commander of the largest Armada ever assembled, and led millions under his
command to a largest naval victory in history. He was an offspring of an American-German family,
living far away from any body of water. The family ran a small local Hotel. From there he entered
history: Nimitz joined the US Navy, and that turned to be his "Rendezvous with Destiny".
