Villa San Michele (Fondazione Axel Munthe), Anacapri (July 2018) ---under construction---
I drove to Anacapri for the Monte Solaro cable car, and... have discovered the Villa. See the official Villa San Michele Web Site for information about visiting and special events. Villa hosts a cafe on its roof, definitely worth a stop after exploring the villa. The Swedish even maintain a consulate close by in honor of their doctor and writer. Munthe moved to Capri 1887, bought the Villa San Michele and restored it, doing much of the work himself.
