Perfect weather for the flight, good visibility. The typical landing in O22 is on runway 17. The town itself seem to be "slower" than what we remember from the past. Some places even closed prior to indicated closing time, due to "slow business". And that included also the operator of the airport itself! We arrived around 4:50 to find the pilot lounge closed already. Official closing time is 5 "Columbia time." This seems to resemble the Hawaiian 'island time,' what is a bit more flexible interpretation for passage of time. Fortunately the airport has other facilities still available, and in perfect condition. O22 is definitely worth a fly-in, as it always was.

The images made at dusk are sadly blurred. Both my ladies failed to adjust cameras to the challenging light conditions. Its the result of the steep learning curve and difficulty in operating the tons of buttons and menus in modern cameras.
