We were lucky to find a parking spot! It was very full in Oceanside on this Saturday. Soon we saw why: On the beach front was held Samoan Cultural Festival.

As they say, this was Melissa's first contact with Pacific. We watched a sand shark being fished from the Ocean and Rensina was proposed to by a 75 year old Samoan gentlemen with red hibiscus in his silver hair. Together they were over 158 years old.
