New Life Ministries Mission Trip 2006 Santo Domingo Day 6

Day six of the mission’s: Well thank you all for your prayers, WE MADE IT THROUGH THE CAMPAMENTO! (LOL) We started today’s journey by going to NPH, and spending time teaching and playing sports with the children. As you can imagine we had an awesome time with them, but physically we were drained. When we left NPH, we headed to Parque Duarte to do some hardcore evangelism. I have to give God praise! He is faithful and he showed up, in a beautiful way. From the beginning to the end As we hit the streets to do outreach to bring in the people, all the way to the end. God’s anointing was felt through out all of this place. As the dance, drama, human video, worship, and word was shared people were being broken by the Spirit of God. We don’t have an exact number of people that were saved, because after the initial call for salvation was made and done, missions team continued to walk through the crowds of people ministering and people were being touched and saved. There is one particular testimony that I want to share though and that is about this man named Cesar. Cesar was one of the people that had been saved at La Mussa hospital, in the trauma unit on day 3. After being saved for two days, he had a dream about his son Ezekiel. His dream was that his son was dieing, but he was alive, and could not do nothing to help his son. When all of sudden he heard the voice of God in his dream saying: “Cesar, I do not want you to walk in front of me, or behind me, but I want you to walk next to me because I want to be your friend, and once you do that, then your son will also live”. As soon as he woke up, his heart was pounding, and the Lord brought my name and appearance to his mind. All he thought about doing was sharing that with me, he even had wrote it down, but thought that he would never see me again. Well, sure enough, he was approached by Chris and some of the other people from the mission’s team, they were inviting him to come to the outreach, and when he was encountered by them, he immediately asked Chris if we were from Miami. And when Chris replied yes to him, he asked about me, and shared his testimony with Chris and then came to the park to worship and share his testimony with us. God is big and he his awesome! Praise God for today and every other day of the mission’s trip, or we are truly not worthy of being used in such a way!

We miss you guys and we love you!
