The past 4 days have been life changing. I've been able to see God move in a supernatural way. I've seen people healed, I've seen the rain stop after our prayers for it to stop, I've seen the Holy Spirit move in a way that I've never seen in the states. I've got the humbling opportunity to be on this trip and it has been nothing short of spectacular. One thing that really stuck out to me was the extreme that people will go to just to get to church. There was a family who I saw walk a couple of miles just to get to their place of worship. Mind you, it was drizzling outside, and the ground was mud because of the rain. These are people who work all day with no AC, who do not eat nearly as much as we do, who have way more stress then what we have in the states. Some of these people don't even know when they will find there next meal, and that is not an exaggeration. Even then, they still have a fire burning inside of them to take a long walk to church. Yet some of us are just too tired, to give God one day out of our week. We "don't have the time". I think we really have to evaluate our lives and priorities. These people try to reach God no matter the cost. The rain didn't stop that family, the mud, the hunger, the sickness, nothing. They went because they know that on the other side of that hill was there place of worship. The place where God calls us to be. We shouldn't be to tired, to stressed, whatever excuse you give to not give God the time He deserves. He's been more then faithful to us in the US. We are millionaires compared to people here. Be grateful and give God the position He is supposed to have in your life. He's number 1.
