Hands Of GOD El Salvador 2019 Day1



Day 1:

Day 1 was definitely one of the longest days ever. Wake up at 4:30 AM to get ready and head to the airport. Organizing forty-something gusanos, and dragging them back and forth to make sure that they were under the 50 pound limit. The first road block we hit was here when we were told that we were unable to take the speakers with us on the plane. This just couldn’t happen as we needed the speakers, especially for our Revival Service that was planned for Friday. We gathered together and began to pray asking that the Lord would clear our path of any obstacles that would come our way. Soon after we were told that not only could we bring the speakers but that we’d be able to check in our carryons so that our travel would be easier. Our flight went perfectly and smoothly as we soon arrived to El Salvador. After we all got through customs here came obstacle number two. The enemy was really trying to get to us. The El Salvador customs was now telling us that in order to bring the medications into the country we would have to pay a tax for the total amount of medicines that we had brought...that would be $1200. We gathered again in prayer, and God did His thing. Thankfully because so many medications were donated the total value of the medications was much less and even though we still had to pay a tax it was half the amount we were supposed to. The three hour drive to our hotel went smoothly and so did checkin. Even though the enemy tried to come against us multiple times we didn’t let it stop us or bring us down! Ester
