JOHN PARRA, NLM AND HANDS OF GOD AT MISSION OF HOPE IN HAITI DAY8

WOW!!! Day8.

This day was a personal blessing to me and my family and especially to Nathan and in the future Jonah. I brought 3 sets of Nathan's favorite PJ's and balls to give to some of the children. I felt in my heart that I had to give it to Jeremiah at Hope House Orphanage; when we started to put the Superman PJ's on him I was so excited on how these looked on him and that Nathan was going to see his PJ's on a child that does not have much clothing and with this he was going to learn to share with children and help others that don't have anything. Then we started to put Elmo's PJ's on his twin brother Matthew and Sponge Bob on Ana. When I saw all three together with Nathan's PJ's and balls, I was touched and moved...the life lesson we could teach our kids by this action is priceless, and as an adult we receive as well, we learn to not be so attached to material things, but to value the things that really matter. Nathan agreed to send his favorite PJ's to those in need, it took a lot to convince him to send the superman one, he wore them 'til the day before I left on the mission to Haiti...
May the Lord keep on blessing us so that we can bless others, anything HE gives to us, is not to keep but to go and bless others with, because when you love Him, he gives abundantly.
Then the day ended with us in Haiti going to Wahoo Bay Resort and spent three hours snorkeling and in the water with an amazing view of the "Matheux" mountains in the background and engulfing "La Gonave Bay" at your feet, we then had great lunch, showered and got dressed into our Heart for Haiti t-shirts and went back to MOH to pick up our luggage to head back home to Miami.
To sum it up: Most of us are visuals, the flesh lots of times likes to see to believe, my hope is that when you see the moments I capture, you are able to receive a revelation from above. My desire as a missionary photographer is to capture those moments that when seeing, they are able to convict, inspire, break hearts, spiritually speaking and most important change lives, all for the glory of God.
My job is literally a God given gift to be used to gain souls for His Kingdom and this way glorify His Name.
